FCCPAS organizes hikes for members each summer and also occasionally sponsors special events. Our AGM is usually held in April of each year and, weather permitting, usually includes a short walk in Churn Creek Protected Area.

Event Description:

This year’s AGM will be on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 at the Scout Island Nature Center in Williams Lake, starting at 6:00 p.m. The evening will begin with a potluck dinner followed by brief reports from the Executive and the annual election of directors at 7:00 PM. Details regarding how to participate in the meeting by zoom will be sent out to members via email in mid-April. Activities

Hikes

Three or more day hikes are organized for members each summer. Many of these access areas seldom visited by the general public and they usually have a natural history, cultural history or protected area management focus. Spectacular scenery is a part of most hikes.
